Born in Cuba, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo mastered the art of cigar making and is one of the best blenders in the industry. He founded the El Credito Cigar Company in Miami, Florida where La Gloria Cubana enjoyed star status eventually spreading throughout the country. He worked for General Cigar Co. until he returned to tobacco fields in 2009 to create his next great cigar.
