overview

Another treat from Crowned Heads and Tabacalera Pichardo.

Released in 2011, the Le Patissier blend from Crowned Heads - that's french for "the baker" - took some inspiration from its Le Careme line in the form of a nod to Marie Antoine Carême, a pioneering French chef credited with popularizing the soufflé.

With Le Patissier, a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper tops binder from Jalapa (Nicaragua), utilizing long-fillers from Costa Rica and Nicaragua's Ometepe and Pueblo Nuevo growing regions. Medium-to-full in both strength and body, expect notes of baking spice, musk, oak, black cherry, earth throughout, and a slightly sweet note on the finish.
