Corona, Double Robusto, Petite Corona, Robusto, Rothschild
Imperative for the full-bodied fan.
Crowned Heads is a small batch, artisanal cigar company that has been turning heads since coming on the scene with a rock-and-roll attitude and a pedal to the metal approach to blending. It’s easy to understand their growing popularity, as they prize depth of flavor, balance, and consistency above all.
La Imperiosa takes its name, and draws inspiration for its artwork, from an old Cuban cigar brand. Hailing from the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, the La Imperiosa blend is identical to the celebrated and hard to find Las Calaveras 2014 cigar. Coming dressed in an oily and dark Ecuador Habana Oscuro wrapper concealing a Nicaragua binder and long leaves, the blend is a full-bodied treat for your palate. You’ll be greeted with an opening blast of red pepper before the blend eases into flavors of fruit, earth, and leather. The cigar is heavy on the palate and approachable, taking you on a tantalizing joyride with Nicaragua’s finest tobaccos.
