That is the message behind Rocky Patel's newest release, Prohibition. In order to let the FDA know that the fellow cigar lovers aren't going to take these pending regulations sitting down, Prohibition was conceived to remind the government what happened last time they attempted a ban. The packaging for Prohibition is reminiscent of the mason jars used by bootleggers of the 1920s, racing across state lines making their deliveries.
Prohibition is available in three different wrapper options: a meaty Connecticut Broadleaf maduro and a hearty San Andres maduro, and Connecticut leaf.
The Connecticut Broadleaf delivers a medium body that is host to many flavors including leather, molasses, and coffee with a sweet spice becoming apparent on the finish. San Andres picks it up a notch, offering a medium to full-bodied experience full of earth, cedar, and roasted nuts with a long and relaxing finish. Finally, Connecticut brings forth a smooth, medium-bodied enjoyment accompanied by hints of cream, hay, and slight black pepper.
