Pappy Van Winkle is one of the rarest bourbons in the world and also among the highest rated. Bottles of this spectacular spirit are so coveted, that a single shot can go for upward of $125, so when the Van Winkle Family approached Drew Estate to create a signature cigar, the result was decadent and totally unique.
The blend was one of many created by Willy Herrera in 2010 during a marathon blending session spanning two days but was more recently hand selected by Julian Van Winkle to represent his family’s legendary distillery. Pappy Van Winkle Tradition wears an oily Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrapper with a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican long fillers at the core, giving this cigar the perfect balance of strength and flavor. Made in extremely limited quantities, this cigar is destined to become as rare as a bottle Pappy, so be sure to secure a box while you can.
