Adding another great to the Macanudo collection of Limited Edition cigars is Macanudo MAO. This limited edition premium begins in the Connecticut River Valley on an experimental plot where original seeds from the ‘60s are grown and sent to Mao, Dominican Republic. Enduring an accelerated regeneration process, the seed follows ideal growing conditions—all in a four-year span—achieving uniqueness in both flavor and strength.
Handmade in the Dominican Republic, Macanudo MAO is draped in a stunning US Connecticut Shade wrapper. A San Andrés binder from Mexico and long-fillers from Nicaragua, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic are the essential framework behind this masterful blend. With ideal construction Macanduo MAO releases hints of cedar, nuts, and cream all in one enjoyable experience, and each box is signed and dated by master blender Jhonys Diaz. Be sure to pick up Macanudo Estate Reserve MAO before it’s gone.
Awesome smoke, perfect burn - great draw. This cigar is one of the best Macanudos I've smoked. Flavor profile is mellow with a nice creamy, citrus, nutty flavor. Most of the time if you are getting a bitter or sour type flavor you need to slow down, you are smoking too fast. Any cigar will do that to you if you are puffin away. Let the cigar cool before your next puff it will help. I will continue to but this cigar it is a great addition to my stockpile.

Bought a #10, 11, and 12. Smoked the 12.
Not at all impressed with this cigar, very very mild, with an acidic bite on the backend. That bite may go away after a few months in the humi, but not worth the price in any way.
I will not buy this cigar again nor would I recommend it. SAve your money.
