Crowned Heads started the tradition of celebrating El Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, back in 2014 with the creation of Las Calaveras. Since then, their annual releases have been one of the most anticipated in the cigar industry today. Produced at My Father Cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua, these 24-count boxes of Las Calaveras are packaged with three rows of eight cigars representing life’s cycle of a beginning, middle, and end. The number ‘8’ is important for biblically signifying new beginnings and eternal life.

This year’s blend sports a Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper for the first time since 2016. Similar to previous iterations this cigar has a Nicaraguan filler and binder that creates the perfect medium-to-full-bodied flavor profile.
