Guess who's back in the cigar industry? The introduction of CLE marks the return of Christian Eiroa to the cigar industry. Primarily known for his former line, Camacho, Christian is now embarking on a brand new endeavor that will surely leave its mark on the industry. Known for making true powerhouse blends, Eiroa has taken a bit of a detour from that method, choosing instead to focus on more medium-bodied cigars for the everyday enthusiast.
There's just something about a seamless Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that makes me want to instantly pour a cup of coffee. This succulent mellow to medium-bodied blend is the lightest in the CLE line. It's teeming with Dominican fillers that coat the palate with notes of cedar, cashews, and a hint of vanilla on the finish. It's good to have Christian back.
Its spicer than most Connecticut wrapped cigars i've smoked but not bad for a change of pace. Still on the milder side as indicated. Overall I was underwhelmed. I expected more based on what I've read. The cap began to unravel but I was able to save it. I have a few left. I will smoke over time but probably would not purchase again.
