Born From a Pioneering Spirit.

The Bobrow Cigar Company started in 1907 when Charles Bobrow decided to take a risk. He was a cigar roller turned entrepreneur, who began making cigars with his brother Harry, out of a basement in Philadelphia. Bold was the Bobrow Bros.’ first cigar, and the name was inspired by the definition they found in a dictionary, “Fearless. Confident. Unafraid.” 

In their first year, they sold 70,000 cigars, and before their 20th year in the business, they had six factories in different cities with the largest in Philadelphia.  Brimming with pre-embargo Cuban tobacco, this mellow gem was crafted in 1946 and is a must add to any collector who cherishes American history and Cuban flavor.
