Make an occasion to smoke one of these. Beyond brilliant.

I've heard it said that when one opens a box of real Cuban cigars, the aroma is of sweet hay and straw. I don't know if that's true; I've only bought singles while traveling, and even then a percentage of them were surely fakes.
I took my guillotine and nipped the endoff the Preludio lancer and drew a breath of air through the unlit cigar. There it was...that telltale scent of sweet hay and morning air blowing over clean wheat straw.
Then I lit it. Soft...so soft. Medium bodied smoke that carried a subtle, sweet pecan and hazelnut flavor. The woodiness was not tannic. Nothing overtly bitter or "oak-like" about it. Cedar? Not quite. Hickory? Closer.
Construction is beautiful. The wrapper feels...well, plush under the fingerpads. Velvet comes to mind. The burn was absolutely even and slow. For slowly it would have burned, had I not tried to nurse on it as a hungry newborn.
There is nothing negative to be said at this cigar. Yes, it is luxury priced. Yes, it might be a special occasion smoke for some.
So? Make up an occasion and smoke one of these, please. You'll thank me and perhaps, name your first-born after me.
