Crowned Heads Mil Días Maduro is a fascinating new take on the original Crowned Heads Mil Días. Unlike many Maduro counterparts, this blend does not simply swap out the original's wrapper for a Maduro. Instead, Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber wanted an all-new blend that "felt worthy of bearing the Mil Días brand name." To achieve the quality and nuance of the original, Crowned Heads partnered with the TacaNisca factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, to put this blend into regular production.

This blend uses a diverse set of premium tobaccos to achieve a complex luxury that lives up to the original's greatness. The Connecticut Broadleaf provides a distinct oiliness that the wrapper has become known for. Inside is a smooth Habano binder and peppery long-fillers from three separate regions of Nicaragua (Jalapa, Condega, and Ometepe). This medium-full blend is densely packed with nuanced flavor and is best paired with a strong whiskey.
