The oldest, true Connecticut wrapper on the market.
As the latest installment of the famous Rocky Patel Vintage series, the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut combines a 7-year-old Connecticut wrapper with a 5-year-old filler and binder to make a creamy, medium-bodied cigar.
There are few cigar brands as popular as the Rocky Patel Vintage Series. Since their inception, they have been the source for many 90+ ratings, and they have become a fixture in humidors all over the country. The secret to Rocky’s success is in his blends, where he spends years balancing each leaf to make the perfect smoke.
Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut provides a rare look into the lighter bodied blending done by Rocky. The aroma is toasty and smooth with salty hints and a buttery texture. Like his other vintage lines, this cigar is expertly balanced with distinct flavors that encompass the entire palate.

Customer Reviews of “Rocky Patel Vintage '99 Connecticut”
When these first came out I thought of them as one of the best mild cigars you could buy. They were full of flavor and were rich and tasty with the flavor that only a fine Connecticut Shade wrapper that was properly aged could provide. I recently bought a ten pack that was on sale here at Cigar.com. I was sorely dissapointed with the flat, underfilled cigars that I received. The filler tunneled out on most of them and I was left with half cigars that were pancake flat and couldn't be finished. These were a far inferior to the ones I have smoked in the past. I don't see how these made it past quality control, unless there is no longer any quality control at Rocky Patel Cigars. I'm extremely disappointed to say the least.

This cigar is extremely mild, that is why it would be a great morning smoke with coffee. I compared this cigar to a light beer but with character. Effortless smoking, enjoyable aroma with a kind reminder why I like to smoke cigars.

Smoked one of these at a Rocky Patel event at a local smoke shop recently.I prefer milder cigars in smaller sizes but the store didn't have the vintage '99 CT corona in stock. Construction was just fine as was the wrapper--a true CT.--but the flavor was merely okay for my taste. Nothing distinctive. Have concluded that's it's quite difficult for a brand like RP--which has marketed medium-full to full-bodied cigars from day one--to produce a really good mild-medium bodied cigar
Not just for breakfast anymore. The Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut is a great cigar for anytime of the day. This 7-year-aged Connecticut is mild but full of flavor. It is buttery, smooth, and creamy with a slightly spicy note. It pairs great with a nice Merlot or your morning cup of coffee. Visit: www.CIGAR.com/onevillagecoffee
