Morado is the highest-rated La Perla Habana blend, and rightfully so. The toothy African Cameroon wrapper is rolled to perfection around a solid core of Nicaraguan long-fillers. This well-balanced, medium-bodied blend has a ton of flavor without all the kick. Smooth flavors of cedar, earth, and light spices mingle throughout, followed by a semi-sweet finish.

Tim - Rocky Patel Decade Cameroon05/11/2016
Decade is one of my all-time favorites, so I had to try Rocky’s newer Cameroon version. After enjoying dozens since its release, I can tell you this blend delivers and frankly is as good, if not better than the original. There’s a nice sweetness to the smoke throughout and some serious complexity with hints of caramel, coconut, and peanut. Another KO from Rocky!

Dave - Alec Bradley Post Embargo04/20/2016
Unveiled as a pre-release at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show, Alec Bradley Post Embargo pays homage to cigar history in the aftermath of the Cuban embargo and symbolizes a future landscape where Cuban and non-Cuban brands can compete on a level playing field. A dark brown Corojo wrapper grown in Honduras is seamlessly applied and gently box pressed to perfection around a core of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers. Once lit, you’re palate overwhelmed with a complex flavor profile dominated by pepper and rounded out with slight hints of mocha and caramel on the finish. The burn line was nice and thin and the ash was compact, holding form for the entire first third of the cigar. The strength clocked out at medium to full-bodied. Alec Bradley Post Embargo truly encapsulates that Cuban-esque style of clean and balanced yet rich in flavor.

Ernesto Padilla is back, and he’s brought his best recipes with him. Topped with a Habano leaf grown in Ecuador, this full-bodied Nicaraguan blend features notes of cedar and pepper up front with creamy, spicy notes and some pepper in the background. Padilla 1932 is very complex but not too strong that it will have you staggering.
