Utilizing the Spanish word for “90,” the Toraño family now celebrates over 90 years of expertise within the cigar industry with the Noventa. A ‘90’ rated Nicaraguan puro, Noventa is rolled with five-year-old tobacco, with each leaf having been carefully selected by a member of the family to ensure superior quality.
When Santiago Toraño left Spain in 1916 bound for Cuba in search of work, he had no idea his new venture as a tobacco dealer would build a foundation of work for four generations of his descendants. Today, in addition to their successful namesake portfolio, the Toraños are accredited with making cigars for such high-profile brands as CAO, Alec Bradley, Gurkha, and many more.
True to its name, Noventa is a culmination of 90 years’ worth of experience, successes and failures, and the knowledge the family has gained throughout its tenure. Rolled with all aged tobaccos, Toraño Noventa acquires its complexity from its filler, which utilizes tobaccos from every major region in Nicaragua including Jalapa, Estelí, and Condega.
