When Rocky Patel first introduced the concept behind his Edge cigars in 2004, it was simple: offer premium, unbanded blends in rustic wooden boxes retailing for an affordable per-stick price. The first two versions were widely successful, and since then, Rocky has continued to release new line extensions.

Featuring 10 total premiums each measuring 6.0”x52, this combo comes with five Barrel-Aged and five Barrel-Aged Black cigars. The original Barrel-Aged sets aside portions of its Ligero long-filler blend from Nicaragua and Honduras to rest in bourbon barrels, imparting noticeable nuances of charred oak, caramel, pepper, earth, and leather. With the new Barrel-Aged Black blend, Rocky starts off again with a Habano wrapper, but instead chose Dominican and Pennsylvania-41 long-leaves to place inside the same set of bourbon barrels. The result is spice, natural sweetness, earth, and espresso that envelops the palate, alongside caramel and oak undertones courtesy of the tobaccos’ time inside the barrels.
