Rocky Patel’s fervent pursuit of memorable smoking experiences continues with Sapphire, a fitting follow‑up to the 90 plus-rated Gold Label and Emerald releases. This gem was shaped by more than a year of work and over one hundred blend variations, all in service of capturing a profile inspired by the lingering sweetness found in classic Cuban cigars of years past. To get there, the team reached deep into their reserves, drawing on vintage Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos - with some aged six to seven years or grown as far back as 2014.
The result is a cigar that reflects luxury, built with a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper, dual binders from Estelí and the Jamastran Valley, and fillers from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa. The medium to full body stays smooth and expressive, offering notes of coffee bean, espresso, caramel, sweet spice, and touches of chocolate that add richness without overwhelming the palate. It delivers depth, balance, and elegance in equal measure. Apart from the wrapper every single leaf comes from the company's farms, and the cigar is handcrafted at Rocky Patel's very own Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. in Estelí.
