Rocky Patel has created some of the highest quality premiums available, and his latest release upholds that precedent. Originally, the Rocky Patel Grand Reserve was intended for a non-American audience. However, after a successful debut in Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands, it was introduced to the U.S. market in 2020. The Grand Reserve line is rolled at El Paraiso in Honduras, a factory owned by Nestor Plasencia, and dedicated almost entirely to producing products under the Rocky Patel label.
Rated ‘93’ by Cigar Aficionado, this premium has also been named the #9 Cigar of 2021. Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers, a Nicaraguan binder, and an Ecuadorian wrapper come together offering a savory character on the palate, highlighted by notes of peanuts, spice, salted caramel, and licorice. This handmade is medium-bodied and remains balanced throughout to deliver a distinguished smoking experience.
Despite its introduction as a European exclusive, the Rocky Patel Grand Reserve has proven it deserves to be enjoyed worldwide.
