Utilizing only the finest Nicaraguan tobaccos, Master Blender AJ Fernandez has imbued New World Dorado with his legendary passion for top-notch premiums. New for 2023 is The Gold Standard Sampler, featuring two cigars each from Dorado including its newest vitola, the Corona.
Meaning “golden” in Spanish, Dorado’s gleaming Habano Sun Grown wrapper truly captivates with an enticing glow. Underneath is a Criollo 98 binder and a bevy of Nicaraguan long-fillers bursting with sweet and savory nuances. Imparting notes of caramel, nuts, coffee, and a hint of fruitiness on to the palate, New World Dorado remains consistent and complex down to the nub. Almost all tobaccos used in Dorado originated from the first harvest at AJ Fernandez’s Dorado farm in Estelí, Nicaragua, a 5-year-old plot of land ripe with potential.
