Named after the Portuguese word for “orange,” Laranja Reserva is crafted by cigar industry veteran Erik Espinosa at his La Zona factory in Nicaragua. Born in Havana, Cuba, Erik mastered just about every aspect of the industry while earning as high as a ‘93' rating for his 601 creations. Building upon his track record of hit cigars, Espinosa this time utilizes his favorite color which he says is “associated with positive energy such as enthusiasm, creativity, determination, and success.”
One of his most flavorful and fragrant releases, Laranja Reserva combines an orange-hued Brazilian Laranja wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and hearty Nicaraguan long-fillers. Medium to full-bodied, yet never harsh or too strong for novice enthusiasts, this well-aged blend offers great complexity in flavor with a pleasant underlying sweetness throughout. With a flawless burn and draw from start to finish, you're left to bask in Laranja Reserva's natural tobacco flavor as well as hints of nuts, citrus, and spice which meld together perfectly on the palate.
