Produced in the same factory as ITC 10th, Man O' War Ruination, Diesel, and Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet, La Herencia Cubana stems from master blender AJ Fernandez. The name itself means “Cuban heritage” and for good reason; the blend is similar in flavor and complexity to those originating from Cuba's glory days.
La Herencia is a flavorful concoction of tobaccos grown in the top three growing regions of Nicaragua: Condega, Jalapa, and Esteli. The combination produces a hearty mix of earth and spice with a touch of sugar noticeable in the aftertaste. The initial light engulfs the palate with white pepper, as the toothy Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper burns slow and even throughout. The aroma smells of cashews and peat while the wrapper provides a slight kick, allowing for subtle complexity that is never overwhelming. This cigar is medium to full-bodied but maintains an enjoyably smooth character.
