Illusione has earned a number of 90+ ratings since it launched over a decade ago, and along with high scores came Top 25 honors on a handful of occasions. Illusione Epernay received the #3 spot in 2011 for its elegance, complexity, and quality construction.

Blended without any ligero leaf at all, rather its comprised entirely of lower primings for perfect combustion, subtle complexity, outstanding aroma (not overpowering ever), and supreme smokability. Top-notch Nicaraguan Criollo and Corojo long-fillers are surrounded with a seamless Cafe Rosado wrapper. Epernay is brimming with a bright bouquet of chocolate chip cookie, cashew, and vanilla bean, followed by a fresh herbal aftertaste, bready/floral room-note, and a caramelized but crisp finish. This shining star from Illusione is truly deserving of its accolades and is certainly a modern day classic to covet.
