H. Upmann 1844 Añejo
Aged tobaccos from an excellent brand...
For the first time in brand’s history, H. Upmann will feature an añejo, or “aged” tobaccos in a cigar blend. Hailing from the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras, H. Upmann Añejo uses tobaccos that are all at least 5-years old.
1844 Añejo uses an Ecuador Habano wrapper, a Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder, and a long-filler combination consisting of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican tobaccos. Expect notes of cinnamon, licorice, and some natural, rich flavors from the extra-aged tobaccos. If you love H. Upmann, or just love aged tobaccos, this is an excellent example of what makes the brand so highly sought-after.
