Dapper Desvaldio
The cigar Ian Reith "dreamed of making for years"
After years of failed attempts, lack of access to the right tobacco, and no connections with elite blending circles, the barriers finally fell and Dapper Desvalido was born. 'Desvalido' translates in Cuban Spanish to "hopeless person," and Ian Reith sure felt like a desvalido at times, but throught persistence he was finally able to accomplish his goal.
The dedicated collabroation with Raul Disla of Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A. and Oliva Tobacco Co. resulted in a cigar known for excellent construction and consistency and great flavor, too. The Desvalido is highly complex offering notes of honey, hazelnut, spice and floral expressions. Layered sweetness and balanced strength make the cigar particualarly memorable.
When you need a cigar to propel you towards an achievement, or celebrate it, Desvalido is here for you.
