Overview

An important chapter for Casa Carillo...

The La Historia Line from Casa Carillo has had quite the history already, with multiple appearences on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 list - once earning a '95' rating. The series pays tribute to Enersto Perez-Carillo's family who have shaped his life and career.

In keeping with this tradition, La Historia Silk is a blend created by Lissette Perez-Carillo - Ernesto's daughter - as an ode to the strong influence of women. In fact, it was a group of women that participated on the tasting panel to select the final blend that would be set into production.

The result was has been met with acclaim, already receiving a '90' point rating. It's an elegant 6x52 Toro wrapped in a choice Ecuador Habano leaf that conceals a Nicaraguan binder and four-country filler blend. Expect this medium-bodied cigar to deliver notes of earth, sweetness, and spice and a long, noble finish.
