Black Works Studio Boondock returns as a full release for the first time since 2019, now limited to 1,950 boxes and once again produced at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí. Inspired by the cult film “The Boondock Saints,” this edition wears a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder, with fillers from Nicaragua, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut that push out dense notes of espresso, dark cocoa, charred oak, pepper, earthy depth, roasted sweetness, and hints of raisin and dark fruit.
After years of steady requests and a cameo in last year’s Boombox collection, Boondock returns with an expanded lineup that now includes a Lancero alongside the Corona Larga and Robusto. The profile sits in the medium to full range with a gritty, rich character that stays composed from start to finish, giving fans of darker boutique cigars the same assertive style that helped turn Boondock into a favorite in the first place
