La Aurora is the Dominican Republic's oldest brand and is rolled at the country's oldest factory. Made in limited quantities, the Preferidos is one of the best-selling super premiums made in the Dominican Republic. Manufactured in the same way that the company has traditionally done since its start in 1903, these cigars are constructed with the best selection of leaves that are aged for five years, four years curing and maturing, and an additional year aging in barrels of rum. With a wrapper of Corojo tobacco from the Dominican Republic, this cigar also sports a Dominican binder securing fillers from Brazil, Cameroon and the Dominican Republic. Notes of cinnamon, cocoa and coffee are present amongst some spiciness to round out this fine medium bodied smoke.
