Cavalier Geneve Project Broadleaf Boartamer
An experience of aged Connecticut Broadleaf
Cavalier Genève has earned its following since 2012 through meticulous craftsmanship, layered flavor profiles, and the unmistakable gold diamonds that mark their cigars as a symbol of the brand’s precision and elegance. The Boartamer serves as the second entry in the Project Broadleaf Series and presents itself as a compact 50 ring gauge robusto shaped around a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and filler tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. This blend delivers a rich progression of cocoa, nuts, and sourdough bread with a finish grounded in deep earth. Boartamer may return in the future, though not necessarily in this exact form, which makes this release a distinctive moment in the series.
Production is limited to 500 bundles of 10 cigars worldwide, underscoring its small batch nature. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper used here undergoes an extensive process that includes up to three years of fermentation followed by an additional year of bale aging between fermentation stages. The result is a profile that feels both deliberate and expressive, offering a refined snapshot of Cavalier Genève’s ongoing exploration of Broadleaf through the Project Broadleaf Series.
