Asylum 13 Ogre
Asylum's big, bad Ogre is SCARY GOOD!
The Asylum brand was created to offer cigar enthusiasts a “refuge from reality.” Brand owners Kevin Baxter and Tom Lazuka are at the helm of this concept project, and since its inception they’ve decided to enlist the help of cigar industry legend Christian Eiroa, who is responsible for the ‘94’ rated Camacho brand. Asylum 13 Ogre Cigars are one of the most impressive cigars they make.
The most visually stunning thing about Ogre is the barber pole style construction, which includes both a Habano and Candela wrapper leaf. This cigar is a Nicaraguan puro, and it includes a plethora of full-bodied flavors that are a treat for the palate. All the sizes are large, starting with a 5.0”x50 robusto and going on up from there. Smooth, flavorful, and complex, this is one behemoth handmade that’s poised to make some waves.
