The first release under the Ashton brand since 2006, Symmetry has been long in the works. Made by Arturo Fuente, the prestigious cigar makers who are also responsible for such Ashton blends as Cabinet Selection and VSG has returned to develop yet another show-stopper. Despite project delays due to a fire in the Fuente factory, the ever vigilant Ashton and Fuente collaboration stayed the course and the result proves to have been well worth the wait.
Symmetry’s flavors marry together with ease in this three country blend. Topped by a glistening Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers rest under a refined Dominican binder. The result is a medium to full-bodied masterpiece that ranks up there with the pool of 90+ rated Ashton achievements, not to mention its #8 Cigar of 2015 spot with a '94' rating.
