Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata
A '93' rated cigar love letter to Nicaragua, inspired by musical form.
A follow-up to a '96' rated, #1 cigar is no easy feat, but Rafael Nodal and AJ Fernandez have partnered up again to create the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata. Nodal grew up performing as a pianist and violinist, and using a compositional form as inspiration, has chosen to pay homage to Nicaragua and its people. All movements within a Sonata employ a distinctive character, and thus each vitola provides a different experience as the common theme - in this case, the tobaccos utilized - perform differently on the palate.
Rolled at AJ Fernandez’s factory in Estelí, the box-pressed line is intended to be mellower in body than the original as it uses longer fermentation process and different seed varietals. A Nicaraguan puro, all leaves used were grown by AJ on his various farms. Focusing on nuances and emitting a refined character, expect notes of oak, roasted nuts, baking spice, and coffee bean from this '93' rated blend.
