An affordable, delicious everyday cigar.A nostalgic throwback to one of the largest cigar-producing towns in America…Settled in 1852, Red Lion, PA was home to around 30 cigar factories producing millions of cigars by 1886. Named after one of the first taverns in town, Red Lion became one of the richest places per-capita in the nation by the 1920s. Many hometown residents would work at the factories and there are still people today who can remember the smell of tobacco curing while passing through. Similar to the types of cigars Red Lion used to produce, these Dominican-made cheroots feature a rustic, Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper combined with a touch of Kentucky fire-cured tobaccos for a hearty, all-American flavor.
Outstanding cigar. Great for all occasions. I'm very happy with the taste. It gives a pleasant comfort.
I smoke a ton of what would be considered 'premium cigars' for many, many years and yet these sticks have a place in my heart. I smoke them while camping, fishing, and working outside around the house. They're very rustic and fit right in around the campfire at night with some scotch or bourbon. If you misplace it or chomp the heck out of it, you just light up another. Not the most refined cigar, but that smoky flavor makes it perfect for certain occasions.
