overview

A Dominican puro blended to pair with your favorite beer.

If you're not familiar with the man, the myth, the legend that is Manuel Quesada, then you need to pay attention. Responsible for Casa Magna, the No. 1 Cigar of the Year in 2008, the Quesada family remains one of the top cigar makers in the Dominican Republic. Even Manuel Quesada's daughters are successfully involved with the blending process as they've released the '90' rated Quesada Tributo. With that in mind, there's no wonder that Oktoberfest became an instant hit when first released at the IPCPR cigar trade show in August 2011. For 2012, the Quesada's have revived this amazing line, bringing back the original vitolas in the Uber and Bavarian sizes while adding 3 more sizes for all of our enjoyment. No more than 1,000 boxes have been created in each size, 5,000 total cigars, making Quesada Oktoberfest one of the best-tasting, most limited lines in the company's profile.

Quesada Oktoberfest cigars showcase 100% Dominican tobaccos for binder, fillers, and wrapper. The Dominican Habano wrapper leaf hails from the Cibao Valley, where the most premium leaves in the country are grown. Inside the filler you'll find Dominican Cuban-seed Criollo, Olor Viso, and ligero tobaccos, creating a slightly complex but medium to full-bodied experience with a smooth, elegant finish. You'll experience notes of sweet chocolate and earth, with a hint of hay and leather on the finish...which perfectly pairs with your favorite Oktoberfest beer. We highly recommend pairing this beauty with Spaten Oktoberfest.
