A fantastic, well-rounded premium!
The newest of four annual Punch releases inspired by Asian culture, food, and entertainment, Punch Fu Manchu draws inspiration from fictional character, Dr. Fu Manchu. First introduced by English Author Sax Rohmer in 1913, Dr. Fu Manchu has been featured in comic books, television, and movies, even being played by some of Hollywood’s most popular actors. Generally described as a supervillain or evil genius, his signature mustache speaks volumes about his sinister intentions, and Punch’s newest cigar offers some sinister flavors!
Fu Manchu uses a Honduran habano wrapper over an Indonesian binder and long-fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Constructed with a soft box-press, this premium exudes a maple sweetness throughout, with creamy notes of toasted bread, cinnamon, oak, and nutmeg. Fu Manchu also sports a unique pigtail, which runs almost the entire length of the cigar, and is not meant to be removed before smoking.
