Sheathed within this wrapper sits the same Nicaraguan binder and long-filler combination that we saw in the first installment.
Plasencia 1865 Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro comes in three sizes, a Hexagon-shaped Gordo vitola (6.0”x60), Toro (6.2"x54), and a Robusto (5.1"x55), which are also box-pressed. The energetic, medium-bodied Nicaraguan blend explodes with flavor upon ignition. Notes of toasted bread, creamy cedar, leather, and espresso beans can be tasted, along with a floral touch in the finish. This version of 1865 Alma Fuerte is absolutely worth a try.
