Originally released in 2009 under EO brands, Murcielago was among the most popular Maduro cigars ever crafted. Originally produced at the My Father Cigars facility, the blend disappeared after EO Brands dissolved. But to the delight of enthusiasts everywhere, it has reappeared. Now crafted at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona Factory in Nicaragua, Murcielago sports a brand new look and the blend is just as flavorful as when it was first released, if not more so.
Reverse engineered from the original blend, this cigar sports a chocolate brown San Andrés wrapper which hides a blend of Nicaraguan binders and fillers. The taste is true to the original with notes of cocoa, black pepper, a bit of sweetness, and some oak. This is the perfect opportunity to get reacquainted with a classic, or to experience it for the first time!
