Slow Burning and With Unmatched Flavor.
The Gomez Sanchez family has been crafting cigars for three generations. The family began its operations in Cuba in 1934 and it ultimately set roots down in Nicaragua in 1998. In recent years, the Gomez Sanchez Family partnered with Texas businessman Al Micallef, a partnership that resulted in some of the finest cigars in the world.
The Leyenda Cigar is among this family’s earliest creations and is truly one of a kind. Handcrafted into a tapered figurado, this cigar wears a 5-year-old Ecuador Habano wrapper with aged Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Honduran long-fillers tucked beneath. Once rolled, this cigar then rests for a year before it leaves the factory. This slow-burning gem is indulgent from the first puff, with hints of earth, leather, oak, and a touch of dried cherry sweetness. Leyenda is must try for any enthusiast looking for a cigar that’s aged to perfection with complexity like no other.
