WOW!!! Holy smokes!!! (pun intended) I don’t know that I can truly do this cigar justice regarding how amazing it is. So let me start off with that I normally smoke medium to full bodied maduros and to be honest usually ones that are a little more “budget friendly”. That being said when I saw this sampler pack I thought maybe it was time to step it up and buy something a little more refined than an everyday “yard cigar”. I must say, I have only smoked the Virtue out of the three series offered in the sampler and IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The wrapper was nice & smooth with not one imperfection that I could find. The cigar smelled slightly of light roasted coffee and a hint of raisins (very subtle but definitely there), and though it is a more mellow cigar than the rest of the Man O’ War line you could tell it had more to offer than met the eye (or nose). I’m sure the look on my face was completely incredulous, and I actually had to sit down I was so awestruck by how smooth it was. Initially the taste was creamy & buttery with a touch of spice. The second half there was an increase in the “texture” of the smoke, (thicker and creamier), but with less spice, and actually slightly sweeter. The finish was very nice, no after taste and smooth till the last draw. All in all, I’m hooked. I’ve actually never had a cigar smoke as smooth as this. I was very sad after the smoke ended about 75 minutes later. Guess I’ll just have to light up another...
