Man O’ War was developed by AJ Fernandez, a Cuban-born cigar maker continuing three generations of tobacco mastery. After spending most of his life working working with premium tobacco in Cuba, Fernandez moved to Nicaragua to begin producing his own cigars. Man O' War Damnation takes what Man O' War Ruination had started, and takes it to a whole new level — in a Maduro blend. A dark US Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper encircles a recipe of Nicaraguan long-filler to provide an uber-flavorful, yet medium-bodied experience. Damnation produces incredibly rich flavors from start to finish and will wow you with its balance and smoothness. A wonderful addition to the Man O' War militia!
Good man o war flavor with added dark roasted expresso and some dried fruit. There were also moments of milk chocolate or cocoa powder. Gone through 2/5 so far and both had burn issues and required a lot of lighter attention. I'll let the other three sit in the humi for a few month and follow up

I really enjoy AJ and Man O War in particular. The Little Devil is my go to stick. My humidor is full of various Man O War; and the Damnation is one of AJ's best varieties, a great full-bodied smoke.

They named it right! I like full body cigars with full flavor, which are AJ's signature. I enjoyed the cigar sitting outside before I was going to get ready for bed, part of my nightly ritual. However, after I stood up, went inside and got ready for bed, as soon as I got in bed, it was like I had 'the spins'. Made a beeline to the bathroom because I thought I was going to puke for the first time in over 20 years. Ran cold water and rubbed it across my face. After a few minutes I felt ok and didn't puke.
This is a cigar to smoke after a big dinner meal + dessert. Not after a midnight snack/sandwich. I'm pretty sure that I will buy a few of these to smoke after I go to my favorite steakhouse.

Have been a big fan of the MoW line, and AJ ever since the first one.
The ruination has been one of my go to smokes when looking for a good burst of flavor.
These feel and taste very similar to me with maybe a little more chocolatey flavoring behind the spice.
The smell of them is very nice and the burn has been even with nice plumes of smoke.
The pack of 5 actually came to me pretty hard and rolled kind of tight. It has taken one poke of my poker to be able to get a good draw. The wrapper of a few seem to not be the greatest either with slight imperfections.
Going to allow the remaining four to sit for a while before trying again in hopes that they will soften.

I think this is the best Man o War stick next to the Armada line. I think the balance in this blend is spot on but still provides a good amount of boldness.
