The first ever Ecuadorian Cameroon wrapper is here!

If you mention names like Arturo Fuente, Davidoff, Ashton, Drew Estate and Montecristo, you can instantly grab the attention of any cigar enthusiast. But what do all these cigar brands have in common? They all get their tobaccos from the Oliva Tobacco Company. And after all of those years growing the world’s finest tobaccos, their knowledge of the plant is unparalleled. Fittingly, you can understand how they were able to produce the extremely delicate Cameroon leaf in Ecuador—a feat accomplished by no one else in the world. This is one experiment that went right.

Latitude Zero Experimental is packed with a special mix of Nicaraguan Criollo ‘98 filler leaves, and topped with a Nicaraguan Criollo ‘98 binder from the company’s “La Joya” farm in Nicaragua. This succulent blend of flavorful Nicaraguan tobaccos is then topped off with a one-of-kind Ecuadorian Cameroon wrapper that won’t be found on any other cigar in the industry. Because the crop has an extremely low yield and is incredibly difficult to grow, supply will be highly limited. Our recommendation? Stock up when you can because this beauty won’t be around forever.

Weird taste, draw issues.
This is the first cigar I've ordered off this site where I wondered if I wanted to finish it because the taste just didn't make sense. Not that it was necessarily bad but it wasn't "right". It was a little bitter and not balanced. Almost like something got spilled on the wrappers. Between that and the small work-out required to get a decent draw, I was really disappointed with this stick.

Consistently consistent
Consistent and enjoyable. These smokes, by the Oliva Tobacco Company (not to be confused with the Oliva Cigar Company with which most cigar smokers are more familiar), are rich and produce copious amounts of creamy smoke. I usually smoke these on the patio, and even in a Robusto vitola outdoors, they draw well, don't canoe, and burn evenly. And the wrapper holds up much better than most smokes in the low desert humidity. One of my "go to" cigars.

Top notch smoke
The Latitude Zero Experimental Cameroon by Olivia has become one of my go to smokes, great medium to full body and flavor. A great buy and a terrific cigar!

Latitude Zero cigar band
The glue used to hold the cigar band together also got applied to the tobacco causing the tobacco to get torn when removing the band. Otherwise a very good smoke.
