#1 Cigar of 2016 – ‘96’ Rated by Cigar Aficionado
La Flor Dominicana has won the industry over time and time again with 90+ rated blends. Litto Gomez, the man behind the brand, came across a unique-looking cigar mold at a local shop in Spain. Bringing it back to the Dominican Republic and incorporating this mold to this limited production, Litto Gomez pays homage to Spain’s famous toreros with La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull.
Hailing from the Dominican Republic in a dark Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, the 96-rated La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull contains both binder and fillers grown at Estancia La Flor de Palma—the farm shared by La Flor Dominicana and Tabacalera Palma. This slow-burning, full-bodied premium comes in a 6.5”x64 vitola, delivering just the right amount of flavor with notes of chocolate, leather, earth, and savory hints of sweetness.
Note: As a result of Andalusian Bull's recent #1 spot as Cigar of the Year, the factory is experiencing an extended backlog. Lead times filling new customer backorders may be up to 1 year. Due to this extended delay, we are no longer accepting any further backorders until production increases. We apologize for any inconvenience and will provide updates when new information is available.

Customer Reviews of “La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull”
Beautiful construction. Smooth draw not too tight. Tastes of leather, spice and sweetness. Flavor stayed until the end where not so great cigars get bitter. Ashes were long, mine ashed almost 2/3rds of the way through. I finally ashed before removing the ring. Great smoke well worth 2016 cigar of the year.

This cigar is unusual in appearance and taste. Nice looking stick! Starts with spice and lead pencil to my palate. Soon after a bit of leather. Most full bodied cigar start a bit rough to me but not this one. Leather picks up more as the cigar gets to mid point where it also picks up a slight sweet and a hint of nutty along with the leather and spice. bold but still very smooth. Burn was a bit uneven on the first half but construction was good with 2 1/2 inches of grey ash forming until it dropped off! Finish was wonderful and it was a real finger burner with no harshness right down to the end! IMO a great smoke!!
