HVC Cigars: Edicion Especial 2015

A clandestine trip to Nicaragua in 2009 changed the course of Reinier Lorenzo's life forever: after leaving Cuba one year earlier, he toured AGANORSA's farms and decided that cigars were his future. Two years later in 2011, HVC Cigars was born. HVC stands for Havana City – Lorenzo’s hometown – and his blends are named for people or places which left indelible impressions on this young man’s character. Part of HVC’s mission is to preserve old Cuban tradition, which is most often executed via the blending process, and the commitment to classical vitolas.

Edición Especial 2015, which despite its name, is not a limited-edition at all. The binder and fillers are sourced from two exclusive AGANORSA farms aged a minimum of four years, and the near-veinless San Andrés Maduro wrapper completes this full-bodied experience across three vitolas. Smoked mesquite, pepper, cocoa, earth, and bright, bitter orange notes weave throughout: in essence, this cigar is like a marriage of decadent, savory flavors highlighted by unique nuances most often attributed to Cuban food. It's unlike anything else you've had before, and that only means you'll be coming back for more.
