From one cigar master to another, HOYO Dark Sumatra is now made under the La Amistad family of blends by AJ Fernandez at his Nicaraguan factory. Called Dark Sumatra after its wrapper, which is hand-selected from the very darkest and thickest sungrown Sumatra-seed leaf Ecuador has to offer. These choice, extra-dark tobaccos are carefully wrapped around a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a special, robust blend of premium Honduran and Dominican long-fillers that all contribute to the extraordinary taste this premium provides in droves.
