The Excalibur line debuted as the fuller-bodied blend of Hoyo de Monterrey. The top 10% of the tobacco crops grown in Nicaragua and Honduras is reserved for this line. The unique blend of tobaccos gives this premium a very hearty aroma, and a dry and spicy finish. While production has moved from Cuba, the traditional cultivation and natural fermentation process originally utilized by Hoyo de Monterrey has not changed. These cigars have a very classic and traditional Cuban allure.
