The legacy of an Empire.
The Robaina family’s deep history in Cuba’s cigar industry dates back to the mid-19th century. The family cultivated some of the best tobaccos in the Pinar del Rio region of the country, much of which has been used in legendary brands. Hirochi Robaina oversees his family’s empire now, and in recent years he began growing tobaccos in Nicaragua. Using his vast knowledge of every aspect of the cigar industry, Hirochi has created some of the finest cigars coming from Nicaragua right now.
Among his creations is HR Robaina Blue Maduro, a full-bodied cigar brimming with Nicaraguan long-fillers and masked with an Ecuador Habano Maduro wrapper. This well-aged gem offers up hints of dried fruit, espresso, with a hint of black pepper and nice long finish. This complex premium offers bold flavors with top of the line craftsmanship - a truly stunning cigar.
