A German-made Gem.

With a story that begins in 1858, The Schwering & Hasse company began in Northern Germany and split in the 1940’s into two distinctly different industries of production. One of the company founders, Ernst Hasse continued to produce cigars well into the 1980’s, while the remainder of the company began producing enamel coated copper wire, an operation that continues to this day.

Among Schwering and Hasse’s original cigars was Hiestrich Toulas, an Oscuro-wrapped blend which was highly sought-after at the peak of this company’s popularity. These gems were produced circa 1970 and will make an impressive addition to any aficionado’s collection.
