A bit strong for me

Cigar strength is difficult to judge for me. I’m an experienced cigar smoker but still have trouble relating staff commentary regarding strength and taste. The best, maybe the only, sure fire way for me is to order some if it sounds like a match I might like. If I find one that turns me green around the gills and a bit queezy in the tummy, it’s too strong.
Such is the case with Herman’s Batch Toro. Don’t know which layer is the source but it is a very physically hard stick and a bit hard on the draw as well. When finished with every smoke my tongue was burning beyond spicy.
Others I smoke rated medium or even medium-strong don’t affect me in this way. Ex: Monticristo. Guess I’ve become a wimp but these cigars are just a bit too much for me.
