A limitless blend...The much anticipated Gurkha Xtreme has landed. From the fabled Gurkha camp comes Xtreme, an intense and intriguing handmade featuring a bold profile and a combination of finely chosen tobacco leaves. It also boasts some of the most eye-catching and unique packaging on the market. With a sleek, futuristic look, the box alone is reason enough to take this one home.Kaizad Hansotia and the Gurkha cigar brand are synonymous with high-quality, expertly crafted premium handmades, and for that reason Gurkha is referred to as, “the Rolls Royce of cigars.” Gurkha is enjoyed by the world’s elite, and their prestigious nature makes them highly coveted. When only the best will do, this is the only cigar you’ll need on hand. Gurkha Xtreme features phenomenal construction. A dark Nicaraguan wrapper surrounding a potent blend of proprietary long-fillers. Gurkha Xtreme begins with a burst of intense earth, leather, and spice, while hints of smokiness appear in the background. This stunning cigar is an experience like no other.
When opening the wrapper you get a strong leather smell. Like a clean 8-Ball jacket that has been in the closet for 20 years. The cold draw produces a leathery yet subtle jerky type of taste. At first light I only have one word: STREMF. No I didn't spell it wrong and yes I meant to use all caps. This is definitely something you want to smoke after a steak dinner or a decent smoked pork shoulder. The stick burns a little quicker than I would have thought. This is an awesome smoke and I would recommend it to anybody who can handle the strength. I wouldn't make it something you'd smoke all the time or even once a week this is something you would want to smoke maybe once a month. I'm definitely keeping an eye on my list of favorite cigars but it's not something I would recommend for the beginner. Smoke output is awesome and it is worth the $10 to $15. Great fall / winter treat.
