Hudson Bay was good, Red Skies.... not so much.
Nice even burn, and solid feel. At first light the flavor was very harsh and peppery, almost burnt tasting. A half a dozen puffs later, it mellowed out and seemed to have a smooth taste, but this only lasted about an inch worth. After that it became very bitter with no flavor. Seemed to burn very quickly compared to other brands, and could never taste anything specific, just smoke. Ended up putting it out with a little less than half left as the taste was just not enjoyable to me.

red skies or cloudy skies?
I was all but ready to give upon gurkha cigars after the last few I've had tasted like nothing but an ashtray, but then I came across the red skies. An awesome little guy, with big bold flavors that reminded me why I liked gurkha. The draw and construction were near perfect, and no horrible aftertaste either. I will buy these again
