La Aurora is one of the world's oldest cigar brands, originating in the Dominican Republic in 1903. Today, La Aurora is rolled in the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. Lending this experience to the production of these world-renowned cigars has ensured perfect construction of each smoke off the factory floor.
Guillermo Leon is a man of complexity—he owns a complex business, lives an enjoyable yet complex life, and when it comes to creating his own cigar, naturally, it's complex. Jokes aside, the cigar tastes great. Inside you'll find two binders—Cameroon and Dominican Corojo—both concealing a robust blend of Peruvian, Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Brazilian long fillers. On top of it all, Guillermo added a premium Ecuadorian Habano Vuelta Arriba wrapper to finish this unique cigar. The result? A full-flavored, medium-bodied cigar with competing flavors of pepper, earth, spice, cedar, and coffee. With a hint of sweetness on the finish, this blend is one of our favorite Dominican handmades.
