Overview

Developed as a collaboration between avid dog lovers Max Fernandez (Aganorsa) and Kyle Gellis (Warped Cigars), Guardian of the Farm was crafted in honor of the American Bulldogs that guard Aganorsa’s factory and fields in Nicaragua. The original blend became a Cigar Aficionado Top 10 of 2017, and is touted as one of the best examples of the company’s signature flavor profile – a marriage of old Cuban traditions and methodology integrated with Nicaraguan resources. Now they’re quite literally turning over a new leaf with their next blend.

Cerberus features a brand-new wrapper varietal dubbed Corojo 2012 farmed in Jalapa. Grown from Cuban seeds, Corojo 2012 produces a luscious, Sun Grown capa “with personality,” according to Aganorsa owner Eduardo Fernandez. Thicker than Corojo 99, the new varietal is rich, slowly and naturally fermented in special cedar trunks until maturation to ensure the most flavor and an even burn. Medium-plus in body, expect assertive earthy notes with underlying nuances of nuts, baking spice, and a brown sugar sweetness.
